This group could even be understood as an integral part of a more comprehensive set, still constituted by Warriors of Rio, Álamo and Foz de Odeleite, endowed with evident affinities and structures that, located on a hill, served in some way the other four.
The Archaeological Station of the Villa Romana of Montinho das Laranjeiras is located on the Laranjeiras, municipality and parish of Alcoutim, in the Algarve region of Baixo Guadiana, in a privileged place of great beauty, next to the river Guadiana, in a region already distanced from the golden beaches of crystalline waters, but full of charm and with much to see and to know.
It is worth to know the traces of the history that marked this territory of great natural beauty, taking advantage of the scenery to better know this "other" Algarve.
