Nestled in the untouched rolling hills of the Wild Coast, Swell Eco Lodge offers self-catering rooms along the north side of the Mdumbi River. The lodge is located just 800 metres from the Indian Ocean.

The thatched-roof buildings offer rooms with an en-suite bathroom with a shower, and access to a fully-equipped kitchen. Some chalets also feature a wooden deck and Indian Ocean views.

Guests can enjoy outdoor activities, such as hiking and horse riding. They can also go fishing, canoeing and snorkelling at Mdubi River Beach.

Swell Eco Lodge offers guided day tours to Hole in the Wall, Hluleka Nature Reserve, Mapuzi Caves and surrounding areas at a surcharge.

Swell Eco Lodge is accessible via a 1.5-hour drive on a gravel road. The property offers transfers from surrounding areas and airports at a surcharge.
