The 'Cromeleques dos Almendres' (2nd stonehenge) near Évora are just 35 km away and Europe's largest reservoir 'Barragem do Alqueva' is situated 75 km from the holiday home. The village of Vimiero is also the centre of the wineroute. And also worth a visit is one of the adegas (wine farm) in the neighborhood. The Spanish border is just 80 km from the holiday home.
