The hotel Chalet Stella Alpina is beautifully situated in the heart of the Swiss Alps, 1,500 metres above sea level in the Ticino, south of the St. Gotthard Pass.
The on-site restaurant serves specialties of the Italien cuisine and Swiss cuisine as well as vegetarian and vegan dishes.
A spa area can be found on site, including a sauna, a hot tub, fitness area as well as a terrace and a relaxation area.
The valley is perfect for hiking, horseback riding and relaxed walks. In winter, excursions with a horse-drawn coach are offered. The area is ideal for every kind of winter sport. Activities in winter:
Various ski trekking routes, cross-country skiing (10 kilometres of tracks), alpine skiing in Airolo and Cioss Prato (for beginners), guided excursions with snowmobiles, excursions with a horse-drawn coach.

Various hiking routes, walks from hut to hut, climbing, mountainbiking, visiting local museums, crystal quarry, horse trekking, visiting Katia's farm and cheese dairy (especially for kids).
